Writing Galore . . . . . . .
Writing galore . . . .
For a while now I have been very interested in poems and writing, I love the thrill of playing, touching, bending words. Being the creator of this little world, you create inside your poem. And each poem you write is like water to your world, and soon it is a world that is no longer so small, but rather quite large. I guess, its that feeling that is so alluring and compelling to me. The feeling of creating a poem and it is beautiful. The feeling is rather divine!!!!!! And you see, now I am going off into my private world I have created, leaving the real world behind and writing about things no body really cares about, except me, though they should really try it. But even going off into this private world so no one can reach you, it is still not really a bad thing. Actually, it is an amazing! a wonderful! a fantastic! a beautiful thing!
I am sorry for that little rant, I really didn't mean to. I will count to ten 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 . . . O.K, I feel better now.
A few days days ago I had that feeling (and it is really quite a compelling thing, and you really can't ignore it) and I wrote a poem. I hope you like it . . .
My window
Out the window, I saw –
The polka dots of sheep
The hills that gently rose and fell
Like loaves of bread
The wind that loved to dance
With the trees
The kaleidoscope of colours
That embraced the land
The warm reds,
The alluring golds,
That splashed the country
With life
So now I must finish because, although the great world, magical realm, of writing is calling, I really have more important things to do.
So goodbye, with love, until next time
